How client engagements with CAQA Marketing are proposed, scoped, delivered and invoiced.
These Client Engagement Terms apply to professional services delivered by CAQA Marketing, part of CAQA Groups and operated by Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238). Client work is performed under an agreed proposal, quote, service agreement, retainer or written scope. The scope will identify the deliverables, assumptions, client responsibilities, fees, payment terms, timelines and review process. Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information. Work outside the agreed scope may require a variation, additional fee or revised timeline.
CAQA Marketing provides marketing strategy, campaign management, content, branding, design, SEO, email, social media and analytics services to education providers — including RTOs, CRICOS and ELICOS colleges, TAFEs, universities and higher education institutions — as well as businesses and government bodies. This website is the enquiry point for those services: engagements are scoped individually, and no services are bought or paid for through the website itself.
Engagements normally start with an enquiry through this website, by email or by phone, followed by a discussion of your goals and a written proposal or quote. The engagement commences when you accept the proposal in writing or instruct us to proceed. The accepted proposal, together with these terms and any applicable Campaign Terms, forms the agreement between us.
Clients agree to provide accurate, complete and timely information, branding materials and access needed for the work; to nominate a contact with authority to give approvals; to review drafts and deliverables within agreed timeframes; and to verify the accuracy of claims, offers and regulatory disclosures in marketing material before approving it, as described in our Advertising Disclaimer. Delays in providing information or approvals may extend timelines.
Fees are set out in the proposal as fixed fees, retainers or hourly or daily rates, plus GST where applicable, and are invoiced according to the payment schedule in the proposal. Invoices are payable by the methods and within the terms stated on the invoice. No payments are processed through this website. Third-party costs — such as media spend, stock assets, printing or software subscriptions — are identified in the scope and either billed at cost or paid directly by the client.
Each deliverable includes the number of review rounds stated in the proposal. Reasonable refinements within scope are part of the service; new requirements, additional rounds or changes of direction after approval are handled as variations.
Either party may request a variation. We will confirm the impact on fees and timelines in writing before proceeding, and no varied work begins until the variation is agreed.
Either party may end an engagement by written notice as set out in the proposal. On termination, fees for work performed and third-party costs committed up to the effective date remain payable, and we will hand over completed and paid-for deliverables. Because no payments are taken through this website, refunds are not processed through it; any credit or refund position on early termination is determined under the proposal and the Australian Consumer Law.
Each party must keep the other’s confidential information secure and use it only for the engagement. Personal information collected during an engagement or through this website is handled under our Privacy Policy. Client data used for campaigns remains the client’s; we use it only to deliver the agreed services.
On payment in full, the client receives ownership of, or a licence to use, the final deliverables as stated in the proposal. CAQA Marketing retains its pre-existing materials, methods, templates and know-how, and may continue to use them across other engagements. We may reference non-confidential work in our portfolio and awards entries unless the client asks us not to.
Our advice is professional marketing guidance, not legal advice. Regulatory, funding, accreditation or approval outcomes are determined by the relevant authority and cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a claim arising from an engagement is limited to resupplying the affected services or refunding the fees paid for them; nothing limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If any part of an engagement falls short, tell us: our Complaints and Feedback page sets out the process. You can reach the team at info@caqa.com.au, on 1800 266 160, through our contact page, or by post to 2/10 Lawn Court, Craigieburn VIC 3064.
